As it is clearly desirable that, in considering

the arrangements to be made for these institutions,

regard should be had to the longer range requirements of these territories in the field of Higher Education, it is

not proposed that the Committee should be restricted to the

consideration of the problems which will arise immediately

but that it on the reoccupation of Hong Kong and Malaya, The Commi will accordingly be invited to submit any recommendations

that it may so desire as to the future of these
